Why are you Jehovah's Witnesses all so stubborn that you refuse to teach people that sinners will burn in hell? Don't you know that it is out of love that God does this? God is love, so He punishes people for 8o or so years of sin with an ETERNITY of pain. Doesn't that sound loving to you?

By refusing to teach this, you are missing a grand opportunity. It is a well-known fact that if you preach hellfire, people will stream into your religion out of fear. Jehovah's Witnesses, you could be a much bigger (and richer) religion, if you would just accept hellfire as the truth.

Besides, it's in the Bible. The writers of my Bible, the KJV, have thoughtfully added the word "hell" so that I won't get confused. That way I won't get misled by you Jehovah's Witnesses into believing that a God who claims to love me would refuse to burn my enemies in hell for all eternity.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe in hell as the term is actually used in the bible. The bible teaches that "hell" is not a fiery place of torment, but is actually the common grave of mankind.

There is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]

(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

You think that Jehoober is approximately to kill ninety nine.nine% of humankind any day now, scumbag will slaughter guys, females and kids or even JWs who don't seem to be actively serving your Governing Body. You would possibly not inform this tid bit to the general public viewers however you already know very good that is what your cult teaches. Fortunately, your sky daddy is not truly, your forthcoming finish adding postponement is close to one hundred years historical, and generations of JWs went to grave believing Watchtower they have been under no circumstances going to die and for a few that that they have been under no circumstances going to conclude tuition by the point tremendous slaughter fest was once to start. So which fantasy and worry tactic is larger? Eternal hearth for evil guys or slaughter of ninety nine.nine% of mankind regardless if they're well or dangerous? So Gary, how historical are you and what number of extra 12 months earlier than you meet the grave with out a paradise and wasted lifestyles? The longer you do not see this paradise the extra this truth will devour at you till you'll be able to develop depressed and discovered that you've got been conned via a cult however you will not be ready to flee with out wasting each person you already know. playstation .Jehovah's tremendous daddy God El might were proud to have such deluded organization of worshipers following his sonny boy.

If we lied, then we would be like all the other religions claiming to be Christian!!

As for irishshellin...., does she honestly believe Jesus spoke with "thees and thous"? Kidoo, you are delusional. The KJV was written and translated in 1610 in England. Many centuries and several thousand miles from the people who wrote the Bible books in original form. To think that it is the "REAL" Bible is ridiculous. It is a good translation and valuable, but no less so than the NWT.

We would rather teach what the Bible actually says. This brings glory to Jehovah God and we don't particularly care what men think.

What do we think of a human that would torture an animal, let alone another human. They would be considered evil. Look at what is going on with Michael Vicks over dogs. I love dogs, I have five and it sickens me to think of what was done to those dogs, but I would not want him to burn forever or think he deserve to burn forever for what he has done.

God is love, he is not evil, so why would he even what to make a human suffer forever? What could anyone do that would deserve that?

What's funny, is that most people who believe in a burning hell would technically go there if it was true. How many people practice fornication today, a lot of people who claim to be Christian. But most think that if they die they will go to heaven. The bible clearly states that fornicators will not inherit God's Kingdom. (Eph. 5:5) (Rev. 21:8) Do they deserve to burn in hell forever?

I was just helping my niece with her World History homework yesterday and it was going over Babylon and Persians and the material on the internet mentioned that the belief of the nether world and torment taught by these ancient civilation is the basis for the Christian belief of Hell.

Jehovah's Witnesses know that Sheol (Hebrew) and Hades (Greek) are the common grave of mankind. These words are often translated as Hell (English). Gehenna (Greek) has also been translated as Hell. Gehenna does not have the same meaning as Sheol and Hades. Gehenna is called the lake of fire, in which death and Hades will be thrown into it and destroyed forever. Since we know that Hades (Hell) and death cannot be literally thrown into the lake of fire or Gehenna, this most be symbolic. Rev. 20:14 Gehenna is also called the second death, fire represents complete destruction, so it would mean that they have no hope of the resurrection after their death, so a second death.

We are to imitate God's love...love would not torture or burn someone forever, much less take pleasure in it.

80?

According to John up until the time of Jesus no one have ascended to heaven.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.

Following the incorrect hell teaching that would mean righteous follows of God such as Moses would be suffering for not a few years but "thousands" of years.

Fortunately God is a God of love and does not harm people in the incorrect manner that is taught in some churches.

Luk 6:35 "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked."

They are not tortured just tormented which is slightly different. Tormented is mental pain inflicted upon oneself. If you murder someone , you will be tormented with the thought of murdering someone and that consciousness will torment you day and night for the age to ages but not tortured. No!!!!!

As far as I am concerned, preaching or trying to make sense out of anything a Jehovah Witness says is like flogging a dead horse. Remember they RE-wrote the Bible so consider the source. Don't take them serious. NOT IN THE LEAST! Not in the slightest. Not with a grain of salt.
