I have been with my guy for a 1 1/2 yrs now and lately he seems more distant and less interested. Although he has a busy life as a single parent, up until about 4 mos ago he was sweet, complimentry and even mentioned marriage and future plans. Now I seem to be at the bottom of his priority list.Believe me, I have reciprocated to adding spark to our relationship, but now it seems to be fizzing out and I'm stressed about it. He doesn't seem to care much about my suble hints of disappointment and concern.Instead has buried himself in home improvement projects. I would like to think that he is preparing for our future, but I'm not so sure about that now.What do you think guys. Is this just a mans way of pulling away or what?

Home improvements??? He's feathering his nest - it can be a sign of impending change - its actually positive, compliment him on it, tell him how good it looks, get into it like he is and his mood will change - get involved in what he is doing and do it together. That will bring you closer

Maybe you should quit drooping hints and just ask him directly.
Wait until you both seem to be calm and and i relatively good mood and just ask him if he still cares about you, or has he lost interest. You may not like the answer, but at least you will have it.
