Not in 6th, and haven't been for a long time...But I wanted to tell you to relax, and that it's not as bad as it seems. The social stuff is the worst of it all!
Good luck!

6th grade is the top if the food chain in the elem. world, so in a way the teachers do increase their expectations as far as mature behavior goes.
If you didn't think the work was any tougher for 5th grade compared to 4th, you should be fine.
The only prep for middle school I got in 6th grade was schoolwork-related. Good luck!

Last year I was in sixth and now I am going into seventh. Um, in my school 6th grade was the first year of middle school and 5th is the last of elementary. But it is a good year and just don't worry okay just be happy there is nothing to worry about.

It's different than 5th grade because you have to start depending on yourself and become more responsible. You have to prepare your own supplies and become more flexible in your work ethics because you will have more than one teacher and class. Even though it may seem as if it is really hard at first, the teachers and staff there really want to make you feel more comfortable. There are counselors there for you if you want to talk about private stuff. Basically, it's really fun to explore a new school and friends. It won't be hard if you don't procrastinate. Trust me. It'll be fine.

Hello, If you're in 9th grade, you're probably around 14 years old - and you probably have a lot of "weird" thoughts. 100% of 14 year old boys have weird thoughts. Having said that - it's time to stop thinking about the 6th grader. You're growing up fast, but she is still a child. Find something to like about one of your 9th grade friends and focus on them.

well i can sorta relate. im going into 7th next week sooo. okay, there is more to learn in sixth grade, you have to pay attention because the math and science get pretty new and confusing. 6th is when you learn the most, then after that it gets pretty easy.
homework, i cant really relate since im homeschooled, and i only have schoolwork not homework. hope this helps!
good luck!
