I am considering using Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, Inc. I would like to hear from people who have ACTUALLY used this service and if it worked or not. I don't want generic answers please.

Credit counseling is a term used along with debt negotiation or debt settlement but should not be mixed with them. In credit counseling, you use the services of a professional credit counselor to repay your debt in reduced, monthly payments that you can easily afford.

If you really need a credit counseling, use one from this site:

http://www.nfcc.org/

These are legit, non-profit services. There are so many scams that just take your money and trash your credit.
