In the northeast, there is Devil's Tower and rolling hills (close to Rapid City and the Badlands). In the northwest, there is Yellowstone National Park (overlaps into Montana on the north and Idaho on the west). South of Yellowstone is the Grand Tetons (French for Big Boobs, due to the shape of the mountains), south of that is the Red Desert, a wild and desolate place; there is the Laramie Range, the Wind River, Independence Rock (with lots of famous persons names carved into the rock), the Oregon Trail, the Pony Express Route, the Mormon Trail, Indian Reservations with casinos...
Wildlife...
and desolate, barren plains.
And, wind, day and night, seldom stopping...
But a great place to VISIT.
