Ever notice how muhammad never has his face shown? Ever notice how muslim women can't show their face? Is anyone else seeing the connection? The Islamic people seem very adamant about not showing muhammad's face. If he is so great shouldn't we see who he is?

Just to let you know it's not required for women to cover their faces under Islamic law, it's a personal choice. And do you really think if their were a depiction of Muhammad it would be accurate? Take Jesus, like he was this good looking white guy, sorry folks but their simply weren't any white folks in that region back then. No, Muhammad was not a woman, people are so incredibly ignorant of that religion and it really shows...

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The main reason that we do not show any representation of our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, or any other prophet for that matter, is twofold. First, there are no pictures of him or Jesus or Abraham, etc., so any picture would not be a true rendition but rather would be based on the imagination of the artist. The bigger reason, though, is that Islam closes any doors to disbelief, and by not having his face on any pictures, we avoid the habit of ignorant people to do acts of worship for a human being. People put up pictures of "saints" and such and venerate them in a way that approaches idol worship, and of course the Christians worship Jesus. Islam wanted to stay far from this since the only One worthy of worship is God (Allah in Arabic). This is why we don't show pictures of Muhammad or the other prophets, may Allah's peace and blessings be on them all.

The best way to "see" how great Allah's Messenger was, is to read about his life, learn about the beautiful religion of Islam which he taught us. If you truly want to learn about Islam, stripped of all the foolishness and weakness that its followers show today, you will love Muhammad and Allah's Message.

I pray that Allah guides you to that which is best in this world and the next. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

That would be great if it were true, but there is no evidence of this. The Koran forbids depicting any living beings. Drawing a picture of a person is forbidden, and any pictures of Muhammad would be a worse offense. Sorry to disappoint you.
