Why when I upload a picture from a folder does it have a little red circle with a red x in the middle of it? It's right on my nose in the picture. I'm certain I don't have a red x on my nose...

The red X appears on the import of duplicate files and indicates that this file will not be imported. There is no actual red x on your nose. (I hope)

That's the only red X I have seen in Picasa.

Here's a paragraph from the Picasa2 site:
- Folder watched? Check the Picasa Folder Manager, under the "Tools" menu. An eye next to your folder means Picasa is watching it for changes. If you see a red X, or a green checkmark, check the "Scan Always" box to watch the folder.
Haven't had the problem but this might help.

Picassa is a great photo management program. You might want to check your camera or have someone else look at your nose.
