the gun would be locked in the trunk of the car and the shells in the glove compartment. The gun was legally purchased outside NYC but within NY State. Can I bring it home to NYC?

The socialist left wingers would like to see you hanged by the neck until dead I am sure; however, an unloaded cased shotgun is yours to take home. Just don't shoot any knife wielding murderers who attack you as that would be violating their civil rights.

Yeah, you should have a case for it but this is America. You can have a gun. You just have to be careful about what you do with it in NYC. : )

If Bloomberg has his way you'd probably get life without parole. But you're good to go with the gun, not sure about the shells though.
