Not in the slightest.

Sometimes the non-believer is simply stunned by the audacious insanity of an argument (such as "until Noah's flood, it never rained", or "dinosaurs were aboard the Ark," or "Plate Tectonics is an evolutionist myth"). Other times they merely fall silent because they become aware that nothing they say is going to alter the other person's stance in the slightest. Still other times the non-believer is simply trying to work through the tortured logic of the believer.

In my experience, when a nonbeliever is dumbstruck by an argument made by a believer, its usually because the nonbeliever simply cannot believe that someone could say something so crazy and be completely serious.

Aha, the truth comes out, just as I suspected. God only exists if you're too dumbstruck to think of a reason otherwise! That is as much as admitting that he's only as real as an individual thinks he is.

The intellect of every person would be under scrutiny. There are a small percent of "smart" people who believe God exists, just as there are a small percent of "dumb" people who can see that he does not.

If either side causes a dumb person to be dumbstruck, what exactly does this prove? Nothing.

Never been dumbstruck before by argument from the theist. In fact, most of the time it was the other way around, but then they justify it by "God works in mysterious way and I have faith in him".... ya right.

Sorry, but in more than 30 years, I've never been "dumbstruck" by a theological argument. Astounded, yes. Dumbstruck, no.

'Gods' don't exist; non-believers are never dumbstruck; rolling on the floor laughing can not be construed as dumbstruck regardless of tears or breathlessly clutching the stomach whilst in the foetal position.

Not necessarily. People can be dumbstruck for various reasons (awe, disbelief, confusion, or amazement that something that stupid could have just rolled out of the speaker's mouth). It could mean that my argument was either unconvincing, fantastic, unclear, or utterly inane, depending on what I'd just said.
