It used to be that God was the explanation for everything. Enter science with all of it's theories and explanations - effectively making God "smaller". So I ask again, isn't it time God fought back?

God will have His say. Everyone has an appointment. But be forewarned that science has no hope for what occurs after life ceases. It has nothing on which to observe or test. Once a person dies, and is dead for a day or two--science, in all its knowledge, cannot bring them back for discovery for what lies beyond.

Jesus was dead for three days, and proved that He had the keys to death and the grave by raising Himself from the dead. He made clear what to expect in the afterlife. He provides free access to eternal life if you would just believe His report.

It seems as if science today is more concerned with discrediting the given evidence in order to hold on to its own lack of knowledge. And thus, those who hold to science for their religion, choose the dangerous road of "taking ones chances that the Bible is false" regarding the afterlife. A dangerous gamble indeed seeing eternity is in the balance.

i'm sorry, but if your god gets smaller through science, then maybe you need to examine your ideas on god. i am going to assume that you're christian or of some other abrahamic faith, so wouldn't god ultimately be, for you at least, behind everything that science proved?
it is ignorant and foolish to believe that faith and science cannot and do not coexist. if god becomes smaller to you with each theory and explanation then maybe it's you that needs to fight yourself for your faith in your god.
do you really believe that it is not in your god's will for people to discover why diseases occur? do you really think that your god just wants people to throw up their hands when a child dies of malaria or polio and say that it was simply your god's will?
from what i understand, your god cannot become smaller. your god is supposed to be unchangeable. it is only your faith and understanding that can change. how dare you belittle and limit your god in such ways. your god does not want a bunch of mindless ignorant sheep. your god wants people that will take action on his behalf; that will go out and do his works. if you don't believe that your god is in someway behind all of the scientific findings, then i feel sorry for your blindness to what your god has tried to reveal. your god has put you here for more than just to wait around for the rapture and being called back to the heaven you believe in. your god has allowed you to incarnate physically so that you can enjoy and know about what you claim your god has created.

You're God tried to wipe out my Gods. He burned the temples, burned the people, stomped out all myth and lore and changed the stories. My Gods still call to their blood lines and we still answer.
God has tried to smother knowledge. All books but the Bible were burned by Constantine, science has been smeared and lied about for centuries, art has been threatened because it MIGHT be idol. Yet the people found intelligence again, even after hundreds of years of the Dark Ages.
God has done nothing but "fight back".
Face it. He's loosing.

He fought and nows Hes just gaining up His anger. He's gonna get back, waaayyy back, during the tribulation. He knows how far lost people are now. The seven years tribulation, which can start any day, will be their pay back, plus the rest of eternity in Hell.

No... God wants devoted followers and it is our jobs to preach the truth. And their theories are being destroyed day after day.

God is God, and He will show everyone who He is. If you do not have God in your life, you have not done business with the Holy Spirit.

You don't understand the fight, my friend. This is not a battle ground here and you are not fighting against people. Science is not your enemy. There is one who is your enemy but he hides behind people so he remains invisible. He is the one you fight against. Hate the sin, but love the sinner. Hate the evil but love the person. Fight the evil, not the people.

God answered when he sent his son to die on a cross, to me that was the ultimate knock out, men will mock him, but he will get the last word, he did say "I'll be Back"
