Yes, birds of a feather flock together. Common psychological fact. Opposites may attract, but opposite relationships do not endure like people who are more similar and generally have more complications and areas of compromise to deal with.
Time and time again, it has been shown that the more alike two people are, the more likely they are to form a relationship and the more successful the relationship is.

"A lesson in nature for man."
"Birds of a feather flock together."
Birds flock together when there is inclimate weather as to an impending storm. Birds also flock together when migration season arrives.
They however separate when family duty calls such as nest building, and especially when comes to feeding and nurturing their young. Then similar species gather together again when the young are able to join in the flock.
Humans operate in a similar manner!
Humans that are of a spiritual nature flock together, to enrich their spiritual growth.

Birds of a feather flock together... I've found this to be very true. I mean if you went to high school you'd understand immediately...

Yes, this is usually a true statement. You see the same
species staying together (birds, crocs, squirrels, rabbits,
worms, ants, monkeys, giraffes, etc. etc.) Dogs are one
species that breaks that statement, thus people used the
saying "so and so is going to the dogs" when they did
something bad.

Flock together. It depends on a person's interpretation of the statement.

I have found that the saying "Opposites Attract" is better in matters of romance. But generally, people try to hang around others that have the same personality types, likes and dislikes as them.

I would have to say that is true. It's more like a peer pressure type of thing. If you do something than everyone else will want to do it also.
