Not really. 9/11 here prompted almost ridiculous outpouring of grief, benefits, money raising, etc. Every network carried it 24 hours and longer than the Kennedy assassination. There were serious questions whether to laugh again.

In Israel, if the same thing happened, know what it would be called? "Thursday".

America was attacked and thousands of innocent people were killed because they decided to go to work that day to support themselves and their families.

After this atrocity, America saw the world through the eyes of a country that had been attacked and needed to defend itself.

No because Israel found itself in a heap of trouble. The U.S. is Israel's biggest ally and if we deem it to dangerous to protect them than we won't. Israel is on a volcano about to erupt. Everyone's just sitting around hoping that the volcanic activity stops.

When you're country is attacked like ours was. We will stand and fight for our country. Not let no one come over, and kill thousands, let alone one person. And walk way scott free. We band together in a time of need. Can you sat the same?? Didn't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you need to be more specific.
If it were not for the United Nations, there would not be an "Israel" to begin with.
Perhaps America needs to quit "playing God" with the rest of the world.
Lots of folks in America right now think it might be a good idea to get rid of both Jerusalem, and Mecca...
I dunno. I don't like the idea, myself...but maybe America ought to consider it...
*shrugs*
I'm just glad that I'm not the one responsible for these kinds of decisions...

9/11 was just another page in our brutal, bloody, human history.

Turn the page.

No, the U.S. decided that it had invented terrorism and that it had never happened anywhere else before.

The country closed in on itself, even more than usual.
