This is a fact everyone else agree or not agree. It does not matter at the end you all well agree and please mormons stop saying your Christians, when Christians are based on the bible and believe it to be 100 percent accurate. Unlike you screw ups to society.

I believe the complete position of the Church on the Bible is that it is the word of God in so far as it is translated correctly.

In the Book of James it cautions us to beware of either the double hearted or the double minded depending on your version. This is not just a question of English versions. There are two Greek versions. This seem to be similar metaphors, but there are subtle differences. What is 100% true is that when you love the Bible, you love it's flaws.

And what have you done for society that so monumentually amazing, Mr. Perfect?

I am a Mormon, and I am a Christian. Mormons ARE Christians and if you can't accept that or even believe it , then that is your willingness to allow Satan to blind you and allow you to hate and demean another group simply because you do not have the same beliefs as they do.

You hardly ACT like a Christian to me. You act more like a modern day Pharasee. The Bible cannot be 100% accurate, especially since there are so many versions and interpretations of it. If it was "100% accurate", we would have only Christian church today.

But that's not to say that the Bible is not the word of God. Heed the warning of Peter to not "wrestle the scriptures unto your own destruction."

You're right, Mormons do not believe the Bible is 100% accurate. Have you ever read the Jehovah's Witness version of the Bible, and compared it to the King James Version, or the Good News Bible. Each version has different things to say!

Do YOU believe the Bible 100%?

If so, where in the Bible does it say that a Christian is someone who believes 100% in the Bible?

This is what the Bible says about who is a Christian:

Acts 11:26 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/acts/11/26#26

Christians are the disciples (or followers) of Jesus Christ.
Here is another verse which shows us how to detect which people are truly disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ:

John 13:34-35 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/john/13/34-35#34

Again I ask you, do YOU believe in the Bible 100%?

Here are two more Bible scriptures that tell you who the LORD deems to be a Christian:

Matthew 7:21-23 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/matt/7/21-23#21

James 1:27 - http://scriptures.lds.org/en/james/1/27#27

Let me share with you two of the most fundamental beliefs of the LDS church, taught to the youngest children and the newest members:

3 We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

4 We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

(Source: Articles of Faith: http://scriptures.lds.org/en/a_of_f/1 )

So, we believe in living by the laws of our Heavenly Father, as revealed by Jesus Christ. We believe in loving one another and our fellow man. We believe in relieving the suffering of the poor and afflicted (regardless of their faith). AND we exercise faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of our sins.

According to the Bible, many Mormons fit this description, and therefore are "real Christians," regardless of any extraneous belief, that you do not accept.

It seems to me that these people are allowed to believe what they want to ! How does it effect you, anyway?
How about you guys who have a hard on for this Church, start listing what Church you belong to, for a little bit of turn about is fair play!
Is it your plan to destroy their faith? If your Churches are so perfect, start putting them out there, when you try to put theirs down! Let's see how yours measure up under the microscope of disdain!
Until, or unless you people are willing to do that? Then shut up!

We believe the Bible to be true, as far as it is translated correctly. No one believes the Bible to be true if it's translated INCORRECTLY. However, we know it's not perfect or complete. We also not worshipthe Bible.l

We follow Jesus Christ, and we can call ourselve anything we prefer, but certainly not the type of "Christian" that you claim to be.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

I agree with Hawk. This is hardly constructive. Jesus said that we must be as wise as serpents, yet gentle as doves. Not clueless as doves and hostile as serpents.

I will give no answer here.

LMAO Mormons are pretty damn retarded for believing in the degenerate story concocted for self glorification. But "Christians" are just as hilariously dysfunctional. 99.999% of self proclaimed Christians act in direct contradiction to what Jesus Christ may or may not have taught - we don't know, because hundreds of people have had their hand in writing the bible and nobody even wrote a single thing down until Jesus was dead for roughly 30 years. (do you remember what exactly you were doing 30 years ago?).

Religious people are nothing more than mental drug addicts!

Dionysus: You forgot the Jefferson Bible

Schneb: A dumb belief is a dumb belief. Believe as long as you want that there is an invisible green flying pig in your closet.... you are still retarded for believing it and need psychological help, not more followers that pray to the invisible green flying pig in your closet. .... Invisible green flying pig in my closet thou art my lord!
