Hitler did spend a vast amount of resources on moving peoples around europe and creating Lebensraum (Living Space) for the German 'purebloods'. This was probably the only racial related thing that would have contributed to his downfall. Probably the racism would have enriched the german economy if anything, slave labour and seizing assets of the defeated has been profitable source of income as proved by the Roman Empire who Hitler emulated greatly. Hitler's downfall was mainly achieved by his constant meddling in matters military and his ability to create fear when his Generals needed to be able to speak out rather than to fear.

The fact that he was a racist had no bearing on the outcome of the 2nd world war. The aerial fight was steadily being won by allied fighters with the superior spitfires in the Battle of Britain. This protected the UK from a potentially overwhelming ground offensive. Indeed the gulf of English Channel made it necessary for Hitlers Germany to turn to the planes and lauch a bombardment over the skies. If we didn't have the channel I am sure Hitler would have invaded and we would have fallen under German control.
However Hitler made two catasrophic mistakes in World War 2 - firstly he thought he could take every country and win - But America was too strong a force. They were always going to sanctify some action against the German offensive anyway - it was just a matter of time - luckily we had allies in America and we persuaded them to act quickly . In unison with the USA the allies overwhelmed Hitler and destroyed vast sways of German military and transport infastructure including their towns and cities. This weakened their war effort and their morale.
The other main reason was the their fight against Russia had failed. The severe winter had killed off thousands of German troops and vast sways of the Russian army had daringly faught of the German raiders. In turn the German army was half the strength it used to be and this dented their chances of winning the war.

No he could not. Why not? Let's forget about the holocaust for a moment. If he would have stopped after invading western Europe there would have been a great change that western Europe would speak German now. He made the mistakes to invade Russia and North Africa and his Navy made the mistake to sink American merchant ships. By invading Russia and North Africa he had to stretch his armies over many fronts at the same time. The sinking of the American merchant ships combined with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor brought the USA into the war. The western Europese resistance, the Russian armies and the unparalleled American war efforts were too much for Hitler and Germany.

He didn't lose because he was a racist, he lost because he was paranoid. People who routinely betray others cannot trust anyone. This led him to attack Russia (and created the huge power he feared though he didn't live to see it).
If he had not opened up the Russian front it would have been nearly impossible for the UK to hold out against the blockade he could have imposed on us and the concentration of air power and resources against us would either have made for a much longer war or the eventual occupation of mainland Britain. Whether the ultimate outcome would have been any different is impossible to know, but certainly his mistakes made the war many years shorter than it would have been.

Even leaving the Rascist equation to one side and just going against the Communists he would have lost.
He started a war before his military were fully prepared
(Yes we know he had tanks, and we know he had airplanes,) but 80% of the Army was still moving its supplies by horse and waggon.
He was short on big ships, troop ships to bring military forces into the Baltic, he could have done with one or two decent aircraft carriers.
Even then would he still have moved against Africa, Greece, and the Balkans?
You can only spread yourself so thin and that was his biggest fault over-extending his supply lines.
For scottygarside: there were actually more Hurricanes used in the Battle of Britain, the Hurri was far easier to produce, where has the Spit took up a lot of man hours.

Its not the fact that he was racist that would have an effect on the second world war. Its because Hitler didnt listen to his military commanders. He got too arrogant and took control of a situation which he thought was a win win.
Some people would also argue that if the first world war didnt take place then the second world war wouldn't have taken place.

No, Hitler lost because like Napoleon, he took on the russians or soviets at the time. He didn't take into account the cold and ruggedness of the terrain nor the tenacity of its inhabitants. When the german army was driven back almost to Berlin, the USA stepped in, dealt the final death blow and claimed part of the booty. Needless to say, relations between USA and the Soviets were pretty strained.

The racism did not play a role in Germany's defeat. Some factors included Hitlers personal Physician Dr. Morrel pumping him full of harm full amphetamines. And Hitlers lust for power brought him to repeat Napoleon's mistake and invade Russian in winter.

If I remember my world history correctly, his whole plan was to make the entire world the "master race" of blonde haired, blue eyed Aryans. The fact that he was racist was the whole reason he went to war in the first place. He lost because the Allies kicked Germany's a&$@$#.
