wtf. ok i see when i look at the questions there is this girl who is 17 and is dating a 22 year old and she wanted to know if this is wrong! well on one response she got it said age is just a nuber it also said it doesnt matter what the age difference is it only matters if you are truely in love! im 12 and my boyfriend is 17 now do you people think that **** is wrong? i mean for a 12 year old to be dating a 17 yeaar old?

I believe you are a smart young lady who is trying to use sophistry to explain your inappropriate relationship.There are so many reasons why your situation does not merit the "age is a number maxim":1)at 12years old ,you should not be thinking of dating much less an older guy2)Legally, the guy is running a very real risk of being arrested for statutory rape or other charges3)You are not yet physically or emotionally ready for a romantic relationship with a more mature guy.4)your parents will never allow it if they know, so I am sure you are sneaking to see him ; and are doing everything to keep them from finding out5)if this guy had any morals, he would not want a girlfriend as young as you;except as a girl he can manipulate and use.So while you may think it is okay because of the age is just a number saying, there are always exceptions to every rule and you are just such an exception.I appeal to you to stop seeing this guy, do not become intimate with him, and focus on your education. At the right time , you can begin to date and then you will be glad you waited.

you have to look at in in a different way ... age does matter but doesnt at the same time. when you are 17 which is still young and a lili risky you have a lot more experciance than a 12 yr old... trust me! entering high school alone gives u a whole new look on relationships. for a 22 yr old to date a 17 yr old is a lil wierd but still okay ... becuase a 17 yr old has more knowedge of how guys are.... and knwos what shes getting herself into. a 12 yr old on the other hand is too young to date a 17 yr old because i can almost garantee he's trying to take advantage of your lack of experiance and age. trust me my best friend did the most whith her first boifriend when she was 12 also b/c she was going out with a 16 year old and he totally took advantage of her.

I think it is wrong because there is no way your emotionally ready for sex. Also, a 17 year old guy, dating a 12 year old girl is completely disgusting... Gross. He has to be messed up in the head real bad from his childhood first of all, and that doesn't even make what he is trying to do here right. Which is ultimately have sex with a 12 year old. WTF!!! I'm sure he makes you feel good and stuff but it's wrong on so many levels I don't even want to get into it.

yes and just chill out a bit-- you ultimately make the choices in your life. And if you are sooo in love with this person who is five years older than you than what everyone else says shouldnt matter.
