Okay....it's a small Sunday AM backyard ceremony. Pre-ceremony music is playing when guests arrive, and they will have a juice and coffee, and danish pastery type little buffet area on deck.

So according to plan, when it's time for the ceremony to begin, my brother will play Chances Are and ask everybody to sit down. (Then another song for mothers entrance, and another song for bridal party etc)

Now I'm trying to write the ceremony program and listing the songs played. I have processional and recessional, but

what do you call it when the guests are asked to sit?

and what is it called when the mothers are escorted to seats?

I really need ideas for words to use.
Thanks

Actually that song can be titled a prelude.

Prelude - Chances Are
___ - Seating of the Mothers (or seating of the families)
___ - Processional
___ - Unity candle
___ - Song after the exchange of vows
___ - Recessional

This is how I have listed the information in the programs I have done.

Good luck!

Hi. I work in a church office and have done many wedding programs. I would list it this way:

Prelude "Chances Are"
Seating of Mothers [song title]
Processional [song title]

[then the rest of the wedding ceremony...such as
Exchange of Vows
Exchange of Rings
Lighting of Unity Candle
XXXXXX
Recessional

You don't need to say anything about "seating of guests". I would think once your brother starts playing, that everyone would be in their seats or would get the hint. You could also have the mother's seated right at the end of the prelude, but having another song is a nice idea. The only problem, you said it was a backyard wedding, so I am assuming the aisle is not real long. He may want to cut the second song (mother's being seated) down to just a few verses, unless it's something really meaningful to the mothers. But it's totally up to you -- it's your wedding! Sounds fun! Good luck.

There isn't any manner, the one option to get a phrase best report to a Microsoft Word is to avoid wasting the primary one as an Enriched textual content report after which while you move to open it at the Microsoft Office, it'll convert swiftly and quite simply.
