I think they should have a game show in Rome called Who Wants To Be The Pope™?! and he would be chosen by television viewers by voting each week among a shrinking group of competitors.

Remember the Pope is selected through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
The youngest Pope was probably either
+ Pope Benedict IX who became Pope at an unknown age between 11 and 20
+ Pope John XII who was 18 at the beginning of his papacy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ages_of_Popes#Youngest_Popes
But that was a long time ago. Now a man younger than 65 is generally considered to young for the job. Age and wisdom are still highly respected in the Church.
Pope John Paul II was only 58 when he was elected in 1978. He was considered a very young pope and served for over 26 years.
Pope Benedict XVI was elected pope at the age of 78. He is the oldest person to have been elected pope since Clement XII in 1730.
With love in Christ.

You're a bit late with that bit of wisdom. According to St Malachi, the next pope will be the LAST pope.
It don't matter any more.

They'd never do that. A Pope cannot be removed once Instated. They'd have to wait to long for him to kick.

Keep them turning over, while they are screwing around voting in a new one, they are leaving the rest of us alone.
