Wow this question got alot of responses! To the women who can only critisize...my husband is sitting right next to me as I asked this! LOL too bad for you that you have nothing better to do than to try and put another wife down! its critical and sad women like you who give us military wives a bad name, not I who are proud of our marines and my HOT marine and your HOT marine! LOL

to "heart" : thats what ugly people say to pretty people....my guess....your "one of those" marine wives that weighs 300 lbs and runs around in her pajamas everywhere...come on people you know the type...they are all over. Your husband probably wishes you would wash your hair and put on some makeup and lose a few pounds! thats probably how you got so bitter and JEALOUS!

First, let me say to all you people with the negative comments. It is not my fault you never accomplished anything worthwhile in your life, don't be mad at those of us who have. And mr me, stop projecting your obvious homosexual fantasy onto Marines.
To answer your question, the most obvious is DRESS BLUES. Chicks dig 'em. But we Marines also have a certain air of confidence about us. We survived the hardest boot camp the US military has to offer. We believe we can do anything, and do it with less than our "smarter" army counterparts. We are loyal, determined, driven, and surrender or retreat are NOT in our vocabulary. But mostly it's the blues!!
BTW wifey, I am college educated and speak 3 languages. English, Latin, and German. Is that smart enough for you?

We have done so much with so little for so long.....
we can now do anything with nothing!
We improvise,overcome and adapt on the run.
I am 54 Sept 4 and except for the wrinkles around my eyes I still have a hard bod. And yes........women do love the Dress Blues. When there's a fight.....you know you want us on your side. This I address to the Ladies out there:

Because they take care of their bodies. Because they defend ours. Because those dress blues make them so dang scrumptious! Because they weild a sword. Because they are brave, strong, musceled, daring..... mmmm! Oh no! Now I need a shower! lol
B.T.W. I forgot to mention this, but why is everyone picking on this woman? So what, she thinks Marines are hot(&she's sooo right! lol). So what, she wants to know what other woman think on why "they" think their hot. If you don't like the question, or her attitude, hit the road!

When you see a platoon of Marines marching by all in their dress blues you can't help but feel pride that your country is being protected by the finest and the best dressed in the nation.
They do look great and they pay the price to earn that right to wear that uniform.
I don't understand why everyone is jumping on you, but you are just being honest about how you feel.

I'm not feeling that - not really into guys. But I did marry a female Marine so I guess I am feeling it in reverse. We got married on the Corps's birthday (10 nov).

Marines are hot for many reasons...the camis, the dress blues, the fact that they protect us, and sacrifice so much for our country...they're not whiny little bitter men like some that have answered this question!!! and of course their bangin bodies!

Well it may have to do with their training. They need to be at their best at all times because they could be called on to go to a mission if your going for muscler guys or is it their shaved heads?
