The same way you work out anything in a relationship: talk about it! Don't tell him that you dislike what he does now, that WILL hurt his feelings. Just tell him that sometimes you'd like it if he was a little rougher. He might enjoy getting the go ahead from you, as until now maybe he was afraid of hurting or scaring you. I told my husband the same thing and little by little we added things. Now it's amazing.
It's well worth bringing up! Just remember to offer it as a saucy alternative to mix in with the usual sensual lovemaking, not a total replacement.

1. you could just ask him to be a little bit rougher in bed... he probably won't mind...
2. He's probably backing off the roughness, siding on the side of caution if you guys haven't been doing ot for to much...

Make it saucy from the beginning. Dress up in some hot lingerie or something and take control. If you guys are really open and comfortable with each other, just talk to him about it...tell him you love having sex with him, but you want to try some new things with him. I would think a guy would love that!

dayum! where have u been all my life??!! the problem is that he prolly won't change. i might suggest u maybe take the role playing charge and kinda show him that it's fun to be different and maybe he'll catch on to what ur trying to show him. it's kinda like teaching a dog a new trick. just reward him when he does good and shouldn't take too long to retrain!

take control. get on top and then you can control the speed and intensity. don't depend on him to mix it up. introduce something new. or, try whispering suggestive words in his ear during the act. these should not be criticisms, more like, "mmm that feels good. do it faster/harder/etc)." or when he's on top, grab his butt cheeks and pull him further in.

You need to suggest things will you are in the "moment". Tell him what you want. Don't be full on hard core about it, but slowly tell him what you want in a cute teasing tone.
