In Your Opinion... Whom Attacks Whom The Most on R&S??

Atheists attacking Christians?
Christians attacking Atheists?
Christians attacking Christians?
or is it just the damn Trolls?

Oh! And please also state whether you are Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, etc...?

I myself, think it is Trolls!

I do believe that there are way too many of them on here pretending to be Atheists or Fundies!

I will say however... a REAL Christian will not trash talk another because of their beliefs. It is NOT our place to judge another.

I myself, have NEVER told someone that they will go to hell. I am extremely opinionated, but I do my best to keep it polite. The only time I get riled up is when someone bashes my faith or anyone else's for that matter.

And to the Christians who do trash-talk... shame on you! You should be better examples!

Other Christians and Atheists attack the JW's all the time. They tell lies about us or make things up that aren't true, to make others hate us.
I am on of Jehovah's Witnesses - Christian.

I Would say though Atheists are a bit more rude when they attack though this is not always the case as well. I heard someone say once that the sin of the Atheist is pride. I would believe it by how they attack, as though they are above Christians. But I have seen people from all walks say things that don't belong to their belief system and that are meant to be hurtful. I would not like to bunch only Atheists into that even though I believe they tend to do it the most. But I only might think this do to the fact that they do it to me allot of the time with my Questions. Something I should expect.

It depends on what you mean by "attacks." If you mean getting vicious, I suspect they are mostly Trolls: that is, people who may or may not believe what they say, but just want to cause trouble. But if you include those who routinely say things like "you will go to hell if you don't do this or that," then the Christians attack non-Christians of all kinds much more than anyone else. Whenever someone asks a question which is about paganism, there is generally someone who says that is the work of Satan. The Christians do not consider it "attack" when they say things like "I will pray for you," but the fact is, only other Christians would consider this a valid answer.

Christians attacking Christians--while it's happened before, usually in the form of scolding, you don't see it too often.

There are quite a few atheists that attack Christians and Christians who attack atheists. But, on the basis that atheists are considered the least trusted and/or most hated Americans, I'd be willing to guess the Christians attack atheists more. Personally, the only thing I have ever done is defend my beliefs when a Christian attacks me...and most atheists I've seen are usually pretty quiet and introspective. Most Christians (that I've met) tend to be the opposite.

Note: Nothing in the above statements can be considered true for EVERYONE. If I've generalized somewhere, it was untintentional.

Honestly, I think Chirstians attack Atheists more. I have nothing against either group. It's just that a lot (not all) of Christians are very, shall we say, "preachy". It's not so much "attacking" so much as it is "annoying the hell out of the other person". Where as a lot of (again, not all) Atheists act very rudely towards Christians.

I'm a Theravada Buddhist. From experience, I can tell you that roughly 90% of atheists are accepting of my religious beliefs, while only about 20% of Christians treat my beliefs with any respect. I realize that not all Christians are judgemental, but a good chunk of them are...

The atheist assault on Christianity probably consumes around 95% of the space. They seem to think fundies represent the main body of Christianity for some reason,and they believe R&S is the ideal forum for proselytising their science-is-all world-view.

I attack anyone who comes into R&S and right from the start begins trashing believers with innuendo and assinine assumptions. I make no apologies for this to anyone. Any atheist who does this deserves nothing but the most scathing rebukes, ridicule, scorn, and contempt. I have absolutely no respect for such a person, and I will waste no time in embarrassing them for being the fools they are.

I'm not sure about attacking...but my experience is, every time I give an answer someone doesn't like, they report me. I get hate email from Christians all the time. I never send out hate mail, If I don't agree with you, I'm not going to report you.
