Read your Bible. The reason I chose the answer I did is because when you can read your bible ,it not only tells the story from the beginning to the end as you read through the 66 books. It also explains in detail how to pray and the kind of prayer that helps you in any kind of situation that needs to be prayed about at the moment you might need it the most.

Can you put a third point in there? LOL! I would not want to give up either as I think both are equally important!
Okay, now for my answer....Pray!
I chose prayer because I cannot go through my day without conversation with the Lord! I do not wish too and that would really be like giving up a huge part of my life!
Also, my faith in Him is such that I know that He would lead me and teach me His truths through many ways! I know that the Holy Spirit would "prick" my heart when I fall or, the world pulls at me! So, I suppose I would do without my Bible before I could ever do without time with HIM, in prayer!

There is no way a Christian could choose between the two. A lack of anyone would mean spiritual death. Reading the Bible is God's way of speaking into our lives, and prayer is our way of speaking back to God. So, again, one cannot work without the other.

I can't seem to seperate the two. When I read the bible I'm in a state of prayer. The only way I can see the two seperate is if the bible was taken from me and prayer was all that was left me.

In my opinion...and that's all it is....The Bible is an inspired book of Christian history. Written by men. Thus making it subject to flaws. Not saying its not top shelf, just not perfect.
Praying is talking to God, meditating is listening. If I had to choose I'd pick praying because the conduit is uninfluenced by others. I can't ever recall a moment of prayer where I was instructed to take an "eye for an eye" or a "tooth for a tooth."

READ THE BIBLE
==============
Because without reading it you will not know what God's likings are, Nor even How to Pray.

Why does it only come down to these choices? Jesus never read the Bible, nor did any of his disciples, though two of them wrote part of the Bible. Christianity was spread originally by talk and example. Of course, Jesus did pray, often to recover his equilibrium when beset by the press of those seeking healings and those who sought to kill him.
Consider what else Jesus did: He taught. He healed. He disputed with doubters. He ate and drank with sinners, bringing the love of God into benighted lives. He gathered disciples, and sent them on missions. He fed the hungry. He confronted false religious leaders. He blessed children.
Cheers,
Bruce

Why did you ask such an immature question. Haven't lived long or much I suspect.
There is always more than one choice. How can you read the bible without prayer involved?
I forgot that's over your head. Reading the whole thing I mean and studying to find the answers instead of expecting some teenager to guide you .

Sorry but there is no choosing on this one. You just have to do both.
I mean read the Bible which is the book of life and Praying to our Lord is a must.
