exactly. i was raised christian, more specifically, catholic and i have finally separated myself from the church. i am 18 now. i think its ridiculous how these christians (not all of them) say that others will go to hell for not believing in christianity. how can someone love a God who will condemn those who dont believe in him. i think religion is used to scare people so that some a**holes can rule them and scare them into joining and eventually giving money to a church. why cant people realize this? its like a cult, but not as bad, when you think about it. im not trying to hurt other people, but really. give me a break. religion is absurd. and to think i was religious a year ago. but i do think that not all christians are like this. i think people should give them a break.

First of all, Christians who love God will BY NATURE not hate anyone. If they hate, then they have kicked God out of their hearts to make room for that hate.
Second, yes, followers of false religions will go to hell if they don't get right with God. The Bible is clear on this. All of us have fallen short of God's perfect standard. Because God is righteous and he's a perfect judge, he can't let ANYone get away with ANY wrongdoing. Otherwise he would be a corrupt God. So what he did was he paid the price for our wrongdoing himself, through Yeshua Jesus Christ, so that all we have to do is accept it and we can go free. All we have to do is choose. And then he sent us out all over the world to spread the news and let people know what he did, so that no one has to go to hell out of ignorance. Why do you think Christianity is the world's leading faith? Why do you think there are Bibles in every country? Why do you think all of the Bible's prophecies have come true, and people are being raised from the dead, and Israel is still standing strong? He's trying to tell you something important and you're just not listening.
And third, the word "judge" has been thrown around so much lately I'm pretty well numb to it now. We live in a society that can't stand it when someone expresses a belief that conflicts with whatever the "preferred" belief happens to be. If I say "homosexuality is a sin" and you're gay, have I judged you? No, I've judged homosexuality. I'm allowed to do that, in fact, I'm commanded to. So I haven't overstepped any boundaries and I refuse to have misquoted scripture shoved in my face by someone who only ever opens a Bible for the purpose of fighting against Christians.
Good day.

That is call Ignorance, people like to follow a leader and tend to criticize others who are able to make their own minds. There is 2 kinds of people,
Those who follow and those who leads, and is my personal belief that that is easier for some to think they are better than other because they have been brainwash, and do not look for other options: I don't like religions because that was invented by man, Church is just a place for business. God is a higher power, like a guidance we need in our life.
and been spiritual do not mean going to church every Sunday, is how you live, you love your neighbors, you share what you have, you lend a hand when is needed, and specially don't judge others. and my last pet peeves who are they to believed they are the ones who are right? How many you know have gone to heaven or hell and come back to tell us the true.

satan has you fooled. Christians do not hate anyone! We do not judge! Christians love for they have love in there hearts. Also have Jesus as there Savior! We love the person, But hate the sins! Thats why we pray for the lost. We care and don't want no one to go to hell. A true christian does not do the things you are saying! If you think so then satan really has you fooled. Praying for you! May God bless you!

My religion is challenged since I am going by way of such a lot agony and loneliness. I misplaced the whole thing. Everything I labored for is long gone. I can not even start to provide an explanation for my agony. I am all by myself in my discomfort. I have not had a hug from my son in over a 12 months. I have requested God many frequently to aid me by way of this soreness. Why may not He aid me? If my kids have been in agony, I could do the whole thing in my vigour to take that agony away. I have a rough time with the entire agony and discomfort on the earth. I used accountable all of it on sin. But now I see that blameless folks undergo. Where is the justice in that? I do not realize it. I can not make any feel in it. Why may not God aid us?

I don't know where you find your Christians. I'm Christian and I have never met one that wanted to be "judgmental, put others down, threaten people physically or mentally,or want to send other people to hell. How many times do we have to put this question up in one week? Give it a break!

The Christians I know, hate evil. They love righteousness and holiness, but hate evil. There is a difference. Adultery, fornication, homosexuality, murder, etc. all are evil. We don't hate the person, it is the evil that is hated. Most sinners know this, but still try and twist things around to make Christians look mean and ugly. God knows the truth and that is what is important.

i think people can believe what they want to.. i believe in God and Jesus but won't necessarily say I'm a christian. to me, God created the world with free will and Jesus told us not to judge others...so i guess if you were a true christian then you shouldn't hate anybody for their beliefs over anything. that's why i don't want to put myself if a hypocritical group because that is a major thing that is turning other people away is too see these crazy Christians running the streets telling everybody they are going to hell. I'm starting my own religion .... JC's posse...everybody is welcome

The trait you cite is characteristic only of fundamentalists. It would not apply to Catholics,Lutherans,Episcopalians or Presbyterians. If your knowledge of Christianity is confined to the fringe elements,I would recommend a bit of research,if only via the Wiki. 75% of all Christians are Catholic. We do not threaten people with hell. As to other religions, all humans are made in God's image and equally deserving of respect.

This is probably going to appear rude but I am SO SICK of hearing this.
If you consider determining something to be sinning based on what GOD says, not what someone thinks, then I'm judgemental. I do NOT, however, go around beating people over the head. I believe we are to love everyone.
I do NOT put others down and if someone out there CLAIMING to be a Christian is doing it, they are wrong. But don' t think that it justifies you pointing to God and saying "You're hateful" because some misguided human is hateful.
No one should be THREATENED with hell, but the truth is, it is one of your two options.
PERIOD.
Telling you that it is one of your two options isn't a threat. It's telling you the truth in hopes that you will avoid it.
Faith is not about "religions". It's about relationship with GOD, of which there is only ONE. PERIOD.
All people who are not saved WILL go to hell. It doesn't matter what they call themselves; what matters is whether they are TRULY covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
It doesn't matter if you are the 'best', 'most loving' person on the planet. You are a sinner. If Jesus Christ is not your savior, you WILL go to hell.
That's not my opinion. It's GOD'S TRUTH.
