The night life is great, there is endless shopping and some of the best restaurants in the country! Not mention, Indy has the best museums (Indianapolis Children's Museum is rated #1 in the country). Plus, its home to the Super Bowl Champion Colt's! ;)

Indianapolis is the 12th largest city in the country, but yet it doesn't have an overwhelming "big city feel" to it. There's so much to do, and there's really something for everyone. It's a huge sports town, with 2 major auto races every year, not to mention it's also home to an NBA team, a Triple A baseball team, and the NFL Superbowl champion Indianapolis Colts.
The Children's Museum and Indianapolis Zoo are among the best in the country. The downtown area is clean and relatively safe, by comparison to most large cities. And by comparison, the cost of living is very reasonable in Indianapolis.

Children's Museum, the malls, the Colts,the canal downtown, the war memorials downtown, the IMAX, Eiteljorg, NCAA Hall of Champions, the Indians, Broad Ripple, Mass Ave., and most of us are very friendly and hospitable.

everyone has hit the nail on the head, for the most part! The cost of living and the general friendliness (of MOST, like everywhere, we have our jerks) and its much more laid back than larger cities. I never would have noticed that so much if i hadn't moved away and come back.
However, i get the feeling you are being sarcastic anyway?

Laid back people, a lot of things to do, a variety of things to do. not overly crowded, their is a lot of green space around the city and out side the city.

Indy offers a wide variety of things to do. Indy is good at being diverse.
