I scored a 72 line score on the Administrative section of the ASVAB Exam. I noticed people talking about scoring 110's and 120's for the line scores. How do I know if a 72 is OK or bad? I know nothing about the Airforce and don't know if I can trust the recruiter when he says that 72 is a good score. Is he lying or is this a OK score to have.

The top for any line score in the AF is 99. The other services score thier tests differently. a 72 in the amin area will qualify you for every job in that area. Although i wouldn't bet on an admin job. They make up about less than 10% of all AF jobs. So yes 72 is a good score, but if I was you I would be looking at your M,G, and E scores. So no your recruiter is not lying to you.

110 has to be a combined score. 99's the best you can do overall, and each individual category has lower numbes.

Normally when someone looks at a specific rate, there are scores from multiple categories that are added together, and they have to be above a certain number (110, for example) to get into a specific rate. The more categories, the higher the composite score. That's probably where the "110"s and "120"s were coming from

72's a great score for an individual category. You probably scored higher than your friends in the admin section.

with a score of 72 its not hard to get the job you want. i got a 86 and recieved my top choice job in the air force, air traffic controller, and get a government security clearance along with it. trust me 72 is good. i know a few people who were lucky to get 20's. i tutored a guy who wanted to join the air force but kept getting a 35 instead of a needed score of 36. when looking at your job choices, you need a minimal score in a few areas. it depends on which job you are looking at but on the whole. 72 is great

I do not suppose there's a prohibit however i suppose for those who fail it once more you are going to must wait six months to retake it! BUY A STUDY GUIDE!!!!! princeton evaluation has a tight research consultant there could also be an ASVAB for Dummies ebook... it will have to no longer be that tough to cross after that due to the fact that it rather breaks down the maths materials for you with the intention to readily train it!
