when it's the owner having psychological problems?
I have a friend who's husband is (supposedly) Catholic and they record the Discovery show 'Haunting'. When we're over there, they play it and my friend proceeds to tell me how each case is similiar to this or that psychological phenomena. The husband notices each similarity between that story and any others then drinks or cheers each time a certain part is shown.
If my friend can diagnose each case and her husband can see a ton of similarities between stories but the Church only is supposed to get involved when there's not any other explanation, who's misdiagnosing each case?

are you talking about exorcisms or haunted houses?

i don't think the Catholic church has haunted houses.
but exorcisms come when, as you said, no one knows what's going on. parents, doctors, and the church "evaluates" it to see if an exorcism is necessary. i think worse comes to worse a priest comes and does it, if it's in their head it'll stop because it was pycological, if it was real then it'd stop because there was an exorcism.

Stop watching/recording the show. Throw out all the recorded material and anything else that is occult. When you do this kind of stuff, you send a party invitation to all the bad stuff that is out there in the spirit realm. That's why the Bible teaches not to.

A Catholic church becomes "Haunted" when it fails to generate the expected, anticipated revenue!
