Here it is.
If everything before the universe started was in a quantum state of non-exsistance and if observation collapses the quantum wave then if God came along and had a thought or observation like "I think I'll create a universe" then the quantum state would collapse and the universe would come into being.
When do I go to Switzerland? Where's the prize money?

No, no, no...

The universe was the sum of the wave functions of it's existence and non-existence, and remained in the quantum ambiguity until an observer (God) looked and the universe was forced into a state, which just as easily could have been non-existence.

Stop pandering to the Nobel prize committee in the universe that exists. It is eminently clear that they only had a 50/50 shot.

You go to Switzerland. I'll collect in Sweden.

There are interpretations of quantum mechanics in which the collapse of the wave function is not the result of observation. (e.g. wave function interaction (the overlap of two wave functions) forces wave function collapse)

I prefer those interpretations.

On the other hand, if you're right go for it.

Before you spend your prize money, try this thought experiment:

When you look at yourself in a mirror, you understand that the image you see is not caused by the mirror.

The image is CAUSED by who is standing in front of the mirror, not by the mirror itself.

Now ask where Creation ends and where you begin.

Creation is the mirror.

(If Creation is the mirror, Who is standing in front of it?)

I hope you ask deeply as a scientist asks, with an intent to keep exploring the answers.....

hehehe, nice. I noticed the entire concept flew over the top of Fireballs' head like a proton in the Large Hadron Collider.

There was never a quantum state of non-existance. But even if there was I think you'd need more proof.

The problem is you keep capitilizing god. You also credit a supernatural force for a regular occurence.

'Fraid you're gonna have to pay your own airfare, son. And you won't be able to take it out of your Nobel winnings...about all you'll bring home from the Alps will be an edelweiss...

That's one hell of a run on sentence.

I'm pretty sure that the Nobel Committee will disqualify you because of it.

Dude, you're a total shoo in. I wish I would have come up with that. It's so obvious now!
