I'm a Christian. If the Bible and Christianity were proven to be a sham, I would simply attempt to find out what wasn't a sham and explore that. I would not regret my time in Christianity at all, because it has helped me to become a more charitable human being. I would not be overly upset about not having an immortal soul, and would eventually come to terms with the "that's all there is" approach to life. I'm fairly flexible, and try to remain that way for a reason.

Well, it's going to be hard choosing another religion. I mean, the mathematician Pascal says we're better off having one than not. I liked Protestant Christianity. Low cost, great benefits.
If the Bible's a sham, that'd tend to negate Judaism and Islam too. Oh my, that's half the world looking for a new religion.

The hardest would be a God that didn't exist..The immortal soul thing..well..I don't know much about that anyway..I just know that I love and worship God and whatever happens , happens..

I would have a hard time believing people were capable of doing anything good for no reason. Not being bad is easy, since most bad things are illegal, and so doing them have a negative motivator. But doing good things, even for people who deserve it, would be pointless, without the imperative from a higher authority and rewards in the next life.

That in the absence of having a natural father that loved me...to fid out that God doesn't exist thus couldn't love me, would be a great loss....
But I know that he loves me because he has spoken to me. I needed that level of proof.

There's no point in pretending such a thing.
I used to be atheist, so I know all about how life would be without God.

Can't answer that question. That's like saying, "pretend that there is proof that the sky does not exist."
