Do you know the difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien? Apparently not. But illegals cost us 80 billion a year, and that is no brain washing nor is it a race issue.

It's not easy at all.
Racism is very blatant when you're tuned into it but even when you are, it can be very subtle indeed. Some, but not all of it, is the fault of the media and the blatant spin they put on news stories; "Black on Black Gun Crime" or "Honour Killings". But don't you - an an intelligent person - go out and find out the facts for yourself? I think you're in the UK (from your overcrowding point) and I am constantly frustrated by the fleeting nature of news reports. If you want to stay ahead in the news, you have to read a broadsheet newspaper and watch either Newsnight or Channel 4 news.
And as for not judging someone before hearing the facts, don't all sensible decent people do that? Everything in life is about seeing things for what they really are and that includes your view of other people and the best way to make any kind of judgement is to have_all_the facts to hand when you do.

Well said :) the ones who think for ourselves and find the true facts and see lies are constantly being told to us all to create a uneasy feeling between immigrants and non-immigrants. I am intrigued about the global warning blame on them :S how anyone can think of a link between immigrants and global warming is beyond me.

While most of the anti-illegal crowd is not necessarily racist, I do agree with the *gist* of your support, which seems to be that despite the problems with illegal immigration, we still live in a pretty darned good country. This is not to say they aren't a monetary drain on our country, and one that we can hopefully resolve in the best possible way. But this problem is not the end of the world.
As to how some people CAN be easily brainwashed into racism, when that's actually the case? The usual way: fear. Notice all the references to an individual illegal alien who killed someone driving drunk, or molested a child. The gist of these carries the hysteria of those old Red Scare and Reefer Madness films, and the resulting fears do nothing to help us solve what is mainly a monetary problem.

i think you are refering yourself to illegal immigrants and to that all I have to say that I agree with you because all these people living in the US got here somehow and that was running away from their country and coming to this one illegaly even if it was a long time ago, when the pilgrims came over did they do it legally???? this was already other peoples land and they came to steal it, they just ignore that fact but i dont listen to ignorant people like them, they'll get nowwhere they just cant admit it. end of discussion.

Where do you live then ? You must be on a different planet.
Obviously not it the same place as me, it's not the native British killing and eating all the waterbirds and fish in our local lakes and canals. See News Shopper local paper, Greenwich edition.
Neither do you see many British working people driving the latest Merc or BMW, so how do others with no visible means of support do it.
I wonder if you'd still be as tolerant if you lived here and saw what I see day in/ day out.

If you are familiar with B.F Skinner unfortunately you will see that from a psychological perspective you are wrong, he did some experiments with association.
Example: I lived in scottsdale Az for about a year, I would walk every where at night the weather is so nice, a very beautiful city, nice and clean, it is also predominatly white.
I also lived in Brockton Ma for about 3 months, got jumped 3 times, couldn't sleep from the gunshots, lots of graffity, couldn't leave my apartment without something to protect myself, predominatly black.
I love every one, I would help anyone , but I am only human, and I am not saying I shy away from black people becouse I won't shy away from any one, but I an careful of my surroundings becouse, not what I have heard, but what I have personally experienced.

Um that's twisted. Isn't enforcing laws for all races and not allowing one nation a backdoor entry into the country equality? Isn't it racist to say only your nationality should not have to apply for citizenship and everyone else should. All the while your country of orgin (yes Mexico) makes racist remarks and treats their illegal immigrants terribly.
Besides all the media is controlled by big business... and all the media I see talks about how poor and mistreated the illegals are. Just because your daddy is getting rich by exploiting poor mexicans...doesn't make it right.

Easy look at the programs on television and almost everyone is white or a wannabe white.
Successful Black and non-white shows do not last.
Sadly the white people are trying to make the San Fernando Valley a place for white people like it was in the 1940s. They are still the majority that create Black vs Hispanic. There are a lot of white washed people ashamed of their heritage.
Even poor white people suffer at the hands of rich white people and this from a white male who is my friend.
