I work out everyday of the week.
5 days a week I do a cardio workout for an hour - sometimes more if I have the time. This can mean swimming, riding my bike or aerobics.
3 days a week I do strength training with weights for about 30 mins. Nothing huge - just enough to feel the burn in my arms and legs. About 15 mins. for each.
7 days a week I do toning - which is just stretching and crunches. I do that until I feel I am stretched enough. Sometimes its 30 mins. but sometimes its longer if I've had a bad day and I feel I need to stretch it out a little more.
And I do this all in my home !

I workout 5 days a week 45 mins each time. I usually do like 30 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical. and then lift weight for a while. I know they say you should workout every other day, but, i like to have my weekends off. :)

I go for about an hour - around four times a week. Circuit training, and resistance training mostly, but sometimes I'll just go for cardio, depending on how I feel.

The American College of Sports Medicine offers guidelines for cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance training. The guidelines are flexible enough to allow you to pick your own exercises but have enough structure to get you going when you first start out. They are pretty easy to follow and will make your workout easier and more efficient.

with life and time constrainst, when I'm pressed for time i try to do at least 40-45 minutes a day of something, usually alternating days between cardio and strength. but mostly, my optimum is 1 1/2+, 1 hour for cardio (fat burning...running, aerobics, dancing, hiking, etc.) and 1/2 hour or more of strength working on different parts (one day arms, another legs...everyday abs). my off day is sunday...like to relax and lounge :)

I work out all the time. As for how long, it depends on how I feel.
I like to do Deep Impact Masturbatory Pilates.
