He's with the united pentecostal church and totally messed up. he's not allowed on the computer, and can't watch tv (not even the ones at Wal*Mart). his mom homeschools him and he's so behind that he's 16 and just finished the eighth grade.his dad is a meth addict and his mom is super into their church (personally i think it's a cult. their pastor creeps me out). he can't do anything. his only friends are at church. and i'm scared for him. i'm afraid that since he's not allowed to do anything, he's going to go balisitc and over do everything that he wasn't allowed to do before once he moves out. one of the kids that shot up everyone at Columbine had a background similiar to this. not to mention his dad is so out of it, he doesn't provide for his family,and they just lost their house.last i heard they lived in a trailer that wasn't even theirs. they live in arkansas and we live in florida. and they won't come down here because my aunt won't leave her pastor. what can i do? i'm 16 too.

All you can do is pray for them. If that's the way his mom wants it then, there isn't much you can do. Don't you stress behind it though. That's not good for you even though you love and care for him.

Pray with him, over him and even when you are alone.
The sad thing is, if he is held with a tight reign, you are right. He may go out and go wild (not on a shooting spree though). I was held with a tight thumb and went out and was crazy when I finally had freedom. However, it all came full circle and now I follow God and have a great family that I love and loves me. I made many mistakes but ultimately if ppl are praying for you---God will listen.
