History has shown that those who first spread their religion though love, will spread it by the sword when they have the power to do so.

When a group teaches its way is better than anyone elses way they are going to imply that everyone else is inferior.

And when that happens people can rationalize doing terrible things.

Crusaders attacked Muslims
Muslims kill Infidels
Each group preached its own superiority and thus everyone else’s inferiority.

I don't understand your point. You say you can't see the difference between Jesus preaching the gospel of salvation and Nazi's murdering Jews!
