strange dreams....mayan calendar year 2012?

i've been having these dreams for the past weeks. i can't remember the dream exactly, only pieces & short conversations. i wrote down bits and pieces after waking up over the course of a couple of days. pls share what ever you can about these bits....ANY help is appreciated.....

1.) year 2012 big change is going to happen, global warming? ice melting? rising sea level considerable amount

2.) 5,125 years in a Mayan calendar coincides with the year 2012 which is near the end of the cycle, significant changes are going to occur. political/warm/weapons

3.) ...on the 9th, the dragon will be born.....pictures and references to the bible with regards to knowledge(born) & serpent(dragon) pictures of the Mexican flag(serpent)

The big changes are evils getting more strength like powerful devils.The dragon that is born is going to be Satan as cristians say.These changes will occur neare the end of 2012.December 21,2012(A.K.A.)The end of the Earth.

I also have been getting more dreams lately concerning the end times. Looking into current global tensions and unrest, it is undeniable that the end times are coming ever closer. I find quite a few "coincidences" that are leading me to believe that the end of the world will in fact start in 2012. One of the main reasons is the simple fact that there are several major countries that are all having a presidential election in 2008, like the US, Russia, India, as well as others. I truly believe that these newly elected officals will intensify situations to a point inwhich war would be eminate.

The dragon, I believe, is either China or N. Korea. I believe it would be more N. Korea then anything, due to the fact that both Iran and N. Korea are becoming rogue nations. I believe that N. Korea, Iran, and later Russia, Cuba, Venezuala, as well as the Taliban and other terrorists groups, will all join in an alliance.

The serpent, I believe, is Mexico. If you look carefully on history, the Mexicans are doing the same to us as we did to them during the 1840's. We, Americans, illegally moved into Tejas (Texas) and California, during the first half of the 1800's. This resulted in the Spanish-Mexican War in which Texas gained their independence (and later joined the US) and California was ceded (along with other Mexican owned territory) to the US. Now, the majority of Mexican illegals are "invading" areas previously held by Mexico. With the recent "crackdown" on illegal immigration, NAFTA pushing for the openning of the Mexican border to promote "free trade", the illegals here in the US already will protest and maybe turn toward violence.

Global warming has been on the rise sharply over the last 50 years. And we all know the rest of the story regarding that. The number of deadly storms and hurricanes, earthquakes, weird weather patterns, can all be pointed toward a the end times.

It's been written and cannot be changed. In the Bible, in the books of Daniel and Revelations clearly point out what will take place in the end times. The only thing we can do is pray that we maybe saved through the Blood of Christ and that we try to point others to the way of salvation.

RJ, I would like to first say that the number 12 is significant because it represents "divine appointment". "Divine appointment" represents anything that was ordained before time by God. Great flooding has always been associated with the judgement of God concerning sin and wickedness. You saw this with Noah. Also, Job 22:10-11 says, "Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden fear troubles you. Or darkness that you can not see and abundant waters cover you". As for the second question. Matthew 24: 6-8 says, "And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. All these are the beginning of sorrows". Lastly, the last part needs some explanation. A dragon represents the warfaring nature of the devil on the saints of God. The devil wages war through lies, deception, hate, temptation, and sin and on and on. If a dragon is born, it could represent someone who is about to come on the scene who will rise up to fight against God's church. This could be in reference to the anti-Christ who will make his presence more visible. The anti-Christ is already here, but He has not risen to power. It will be awhile. Read Revelations 13:2-4.

If you are troubled by your apocalyptic dreams and feel compelled to note them down, then what? I would suggest you delve deeper into the current Mayan population in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. (that is, the one's that have not converted to Catholicism) Check the archaeological records for leads. Your dreams might not be "general information" but a wake-up call to be taken personally. We haven't had that dream. You are the center of your universe. Since no one can give you a definite answer, if you are religious, maybe you should pray, for if the end is coming in 5 years, we are all in the same boat. Just pray it comes quick, for our faith is linked to suffering and redemption. I'm here in Mexico now, and a Mayan cheese vendor comes to my house once a week. He holds the Mexican people in contempt and tells me that if I ever go to "his country", I'll never come back. How am I to take this? Is that a warning? A prophecy? Or just tourist information? I'm trying to tell you to accept things you cannot change, I myself sometimes feel as if I'm living on ground-zero, but not all of the time. The Christians talk of being filled with "the Holy Spirit" and that is their shield, or protection. We tend to laugh at them, but most seem like a happy peaceful lot because of their hope. I would like that peace of mind myself. I can tell you, don't give credit to your dreams, because the most important thing is to accept reality and life's mysteries for what they are. Get on with your life and consider this; nothing is forever.
