There are currently 71,000,000 (a ratio of 1.024 male/female) more men on the planet than women between the ages of 15 and 64. There is not a 1:1 ratio of men to women on this planet. That means that 71,000,000 men will be very lonely.

SaintofSorts says what I have shown here are rubber numbers and mean nothing? Umm, if there was a god and the god wanted men to be with women then there should be a 1:1 ratio of men to women in the world. That way, every man and every woman have a chance of being with someone of the opposite sex. The way it is now, there are men who can never be in a relationship with a woman unless you can have a world where one woman can have many husbands. Simple as that. An omnipotent being should be able to maintain that, right? However, it is not being done. I guess this god guy is lazy or does not care or does not exist.

It's an interesting thought, and even all the lesbians went straight as well, there would still be a surplus of men.
Also, with no gay men, what would the men who pretend to be gay do? (I know it sounds bizarre but a lot of guys I know do this, and they're a big hit with the girls, it's a very strange thing).

Is homosexuality wrong? Let's say, it's more of an abnormality. An abnormal condition of the human body, kind of like a handicap....either your born with it, or not.
The "normal" condition is to be attracted and mate with the opposite sex. This helps maintain the population, regardless what species you're talking about. For some, their brains are hardwired to have an unnatural attraction to the same sex.
These people can not help themselves, anymore more than a blind person can change their condition. Unless there is a magic formula to change this, they're basically stuck.
I'm sure there are homosexuals that may be offended by this. Oh well ! This is my opinion, and I'm sticking with it. If the truth hurts, then that's the way it goes.

Strange way to talk about the topic, but if all homosexuals turned straight, then there would be more straight women out there too.. balancing out the ratio and leaving us in the same competition level.

What about all the lesbians? You cant have all the gay guys become straight without having the lesbians do it to. That would make it even again.

Excellent point. The more gays....the better it is for the straight guys. Less competition.

religiously, homosexuality has nothing to do with rubber nuimbers and competition. It has to do with what is morally right and acceptable to God and His word. If God wanted men to be with men and women to be with women don't you think that in the beginning He would of created two men and two women. It is indeed a sin and a sickness and I only hope that those who are sick will look within themselves and acknowledge the God who has always been there who heals those that are sick.

I wouldn't worry.
I compare just fine to some kid who "is in touch with his feminine side."
Wouldn't bother me if they all miraculously turned straight or if more were born. Homosexuals don't affect me in any way so I have no reason to care one way or the other.
