Call them and work it out! Are you current with filing? If not, that is one reason they will levy. Get current with filing and give them a full financial. Usually, they will work out an installment plan. If they are not helpful then call the Taxpayer Advocate @ 1-877-777-4778 or hire a good CPA or Enrolled Agent.
Do not hire some outfit that has salesmen disguised as "Tax Consultants" unless you get to talk to the person who will be doing the work first before you fork over $$$. If they are legitimate, you will have the option to talk to the professional, not just the "consultant."

We you paying them under an agreement that you had made with them? If not, and you were just sending in money every week, they would levy your paycheck, but you could quit sending the amount you are currently sending.

You do not have an approved installment agreement, you are just sending money. If you owe less than $10,000 and can pay in full within three years, you can get a streamlined installment agreement automatically. You can apply on line

Sounds like a clear case of tax evasion to me. In addition, it also sounds like you got caught. If you can't do the time then don't do the crime. That's the answer.
