Some women have periods during there pregnancies im not sure why, but i know a woman (over wight woman at that) didn't know she was pregnant till she was 6 months along, she had awful stomach pains they sent her for an tummy ultrasound and when they saw a tiny little leg and a hand on the screen they were dumbstruck!

i would wait for an ultrasound to confirm how far along you actually are, but you could be 3 months

Good luck

Wait and see the doctor. A blood test can't tell you how far along you are. Once they schedule you for an ultrasound, they'll be able to measure the baby (or the little spot that's there) and let you know how far along you are (to the day) and give you a due date. (I went thru the same thing - all of a sudden, I was pregnant! They did an ultrasound, and were able to tell me when I was due. It's amazing!)

Well then that means you have 6mos to go. Not bad. It will fell short. I had implantation bledding for 4 days very light and fainted dark brown after I conceive my son. Blood test only confirm that your pregnant not how far along are you. Ob/gyn need to schedule an ultrasound. Congratulations!

It happens. I don't understand it either, but I've heard lots of cases where there was bleeding, or what was interpreted as a period, but the baby was fine. Congratulations, Mom!

an ultrasound will be more right than anything else, because it measures the baby

do not even try to figure out how far you are until you get that ultrasound, because you will just get confused, lol i was the same way

good luck and congrats!

Some people still have normal periods while pregnant...

I would go with what your doctor said... did they know you had a normal period?
