I was driving down my street on my way home, there were two kids outside riding their bikes on the sidewalk one was around 6 the other around 8 since the smaller child was going slower the kid decide to off into the street not even looking as I was driving down, luckily for me I was going slow because you know children don't look I just thought that he would be going off into the street to pass the kid, but no he decides to do a complete u turn all the way through the street, that kid is lucky that I was paying attention otherwise he would have been hit!

Yeah right turned head for a minute none were around. Later on in the day pre-teens were playing in the street too, goofing off not paying attention to anything. Think that could rub off on a younger child? I think so. I know if that had happened to me my parents would have seen it and would have punished me for it!

I would just put up a sign that said "Stupid unsupervised children at play, Drive carefully the neglectful parents will sue you if you hit them"

Put anything you want but fact is that some parents just don't care to watch their kids. They seem to be happy to have them out of their hair.

I know I am always on my kids, watching them on their bikes, monitoring where they go, who they hang out with, etc. I don't let up, even if they are doing good.

Not all parents care enough, I see it everyday, kids out at all hours of the night and day running around like idiots. It's sad.

I always stop the car and just let them doodle across the street. I don't want to kill anyone, and the parents certainly don't care if they're not there with them. I see this all to often. Parents don't watch their small children and they run around like the Tasmanian Devil. It's the children's safety that concerns me, a stranger.

You could but I'm sure it wouldn't do any good. Parents who let their kids roam the streets will just be like "Oh well my kid doesn't do stuff like that" and won't think it applies to them.

It won't do any good and you'll make enemies.

Some people are lazy parents.
