anything with zinc oxide in it...even store brand is just as good. use the zinc stuff for the really bad rashes. for my kids always used an A&D ointment after diapers chages. this was a preventive measure to keep really bad rashes away...which it did for the most part.

I work in a hospital and we give out something called "triple paste" for free, and you don't need a prescription there so I'm assuming it's over-the-counter. It works miracles. Otherwise, I stick to Desitin because it's always done the job. I also like something called aquaphor, which is for extremely dry skin. My doctor recommended it.

"Beaudreaux's Butt Paste" worked best for me. It was really thick and didn't just rub off between diaper changes like most others I tried. It was also pleasently scented, I think alot of them smell like nursing homes. You can buy it at Walmart.

Desitin worked for my baby. Better than others I tried at the time.

A&D ointment did it for my kids but then I used cloth diapers and training undies.
My oldest son was allergic to Pampers and Huggies...etc.

You can get it at drug stores over the counter, and it really works. I always combined it with pure cornstarch baby powders and it was cleared up in a matter of hours.

triple paste works well...also boudreaux butt paste is amazing. corona is a formula you can get and is actually for horses but works amazingly fast...look for it at feed stores, sounds silly but works in a matter of hours.

Zinc and castor oil cream. My daughter reacted badly to anything else and there's nothing untoward in it!

boudreaux's butt paste. I like its smell and it doesn't make the skin sticky like Balmex and Desitin
