I use Sky Anytime to down load movies to my PC and would like to watch them on my larger 32" TV. Is there a PC card that can be installed into the PC that can then transmit via a lead down to the TV.?

What you need is a scan converter.
examples are the Grandtec USA GEZ-1000 ~$50 and the Aver Media AverKey DKEYIMID2 ~$90. Price usually means better image. This allows you to send the image to your tv from ANY computer (including macs) to you TV without buying a new card. That way your laptop, desktop and any future computer you have can use it. Just remember TVs are NOT computer monitors although the movies will look good, your spreadsheets will look like crap.

Or get a hi-def TV with VGA input.

By the way, that first device is for UK PAL monitors and unfortunately in the US we have NTSC which is crappier than PAL. We just wish we can have SCART connections on our TVs. The best we had was analog RGB on old Sony Pro line tvs and yet NTSC does not have the resoluton of PAL.

I am not too sure about that gizmo that opp is pushing, it doesnt look like a standard connection at the tv side. like the other guy said get a video card that has composite video outputs on it then you would be able to connect to just about any tv.

You want a video card with TV Out. Then you connect a cable from the TV Out to your TV.
