"It" will not get out of his system until you get him neutered. He may still mount, but it will not be for sexual reasons... it will be for dominance.

Fix your dog. I suspect that you don't know the first thing about breeding.

That is the worst thing you can do. You will never get him to calm down if you do that. He should have been neutered while he was a puppy. Parson's Jack Russel Terrier's are very energetic, prey driven dogs and the last thing you need is an out of a control terrier. I have known too many who were never able to properly interact with other dogs or even people because they were not neutered or they were neutered later in life.

The only way to get it out of his system is to fix him. If you do breed him that will be like flipping a switch and make him worse.

Tell me to teenage boys (or for that matter grown men) get it out of their system in one date? Typically getting lucky once makes a dog all the more eager to try again....if your looking to calm him down you'll regret mating him...

Listen to Vet Tech.

Straight forward correct advice.

Plus your boy will probably start marking everything in sight.

Neuter him please.

Nothing is more unattractive or unappealing than an aggressive male jack russell. They "can" turn into Jack Russel Terrors - Small bundles of aggressive energy.

Breeding him will only make it worse. The only way to "get it out of his system" is to neuter him.
