I have dark brown eyes, nothing amazing, but there is this pale blue outline around them that I've just noticed recently. For those who have brown, look in the mirror with the light on and see if you have the same thing.

I have green eyes with gold and brown flecks, and a gray ring around the iris.
My son has aqua [ blue-green ] with a gray ring around.
His friend has blue eyes with green and gold flecks, and a smoke blue ring around.
These show up better in lighter color eyes. The flecks and the rings are good colors to use for eyeshadows!

It is common completely, it just depends on the your genetics and the genetics from you past generations and all. And it's extremely common for people to have little dots scattering their eyes I call them freckles!!!! I have a face full of them so you would understand why I call them freckles.
