Well, you should try to be happy for your friend, because technically there is nothing wrong with it... They will probably start to run into issues in a while, especially when she matures a little and changes her mind about what she wants. But, If they are happy now and have their minds set on it, there is little you can do about it but roll your eyes and smile.

I agree with you. The age difference is too great. I can't imagine what they have in common. I have a 19 year old daughter and a 26 year old daughter and I wouldn't be happy if either one of them was with a man more than double her age.

Nothing intrinsically wrong with it, but I betcha it won't last long. These are two people living in very different phases of their lives.
Just my observation, but 40-something men often have a mid-life crisis thing going on and they go a little nuts trying to be young again.

20 year old maybe an adult but to me it's still too young to date some old 42 year old man. Why would you want to date someone who's old enough to be your father. I'm 29 and I couldn't see myself dating someone in their 40's.

If they are tully in love then there is nothing wrong. You feel it's wrong because society says so.

Not if he has money. Now, if he's a poor a.s.s living off your friend, no.
