I don't have my cartilage pierced, but I do have my second hole and I can tell you, getting your belly pierced hurts worse than that. I don't know, it doesn't hurt that bad, it hurt bad enough for me to say, "OUCH" and it was done. However, it is sore for like, a week or so after you get it pierced. It's worth it though :)

Hello! I've had many piercings before, and the actual piercing is not usually the problem. It really does just feel like a quick pinch. For me, when I had my belly button done the biggest problem is that it bled a lot for the first 48 hours or so. Also, healing it can be a bit painful in a sore kind of way because it can take from 6 months to a year to heal. If you really like it I say go for it though. It is so worth it. :) Good luck!

Yes it hurts, but it's over really fast. And the pain doesn't linger like with other things. It does take forever to heal. Waxing legs doesn't hurt as much but it takes much longer, the piercing will be over before you know it. You basically gasp and it's done. Since it's not a vulnerable body part, like a tongue or nipple, it's not scary, at least.

never gotten my belly button pierced but i got my lip pierced. it hurts a helluva less than with a gun. the guns just shove your skin aside and the needles take the skin out so you heal around it and make sure you go to a very reputable place and watch them take everything out of new steralized bags. waxing should be done right after your cycle because thats when your pain tolerence is the highest, so that applies to piercings too. it all hurts :) a lot. so does being a woman. muwahaha. i got my eyebrow my cartilidge and my nose pierced thoes i took out cuz my cat likes to chew. its just a brief pain like stubbin your toe. its the aftercare thats more owwie if it gets swollen etc. tea tree oil is recommended if it does. it works wonders. have fun!

It hurts just like any piercing. I got my tongue done, that part between the lower lip and chin, nose, and the ear cartiladge part too. The nose hurt the most. The tongue, not so much..but i did feel it and had a massive headache on one side of my head. You'll be done soon so don't worry. At least its not as thick as the tongue to pierce.

I think it is just the anticipation of waiting for them to actually shoot the ring in. Once it is in, you will be like "that's all..its over??" It stings a little, but you will be able to handle it, especially since you have those other pierceings. Make sure you clean it very well everyday..and dont forget to turn it. Dont be nervous...good luck!

yes, it hurt. it hurt worse than my tongue and my nose, but DEF. waxing your legs hurts worse. I only did it twice and i will save it for a VERY rainy day to do it again. Just take care of the peircing because they tend to get infected easily

It doesnt hurt at all!! They do it so fast you cant even feel it. I just got mine done a month ago and its perfectly fine. Just make sure you go to a clean place and follow the directions they give you so that it doesn't get infected.

No, it's not painful. I have my cartilige, 1st whole, second whole, tounge, and belly pierced. It hurt least for me actually.

If you can handle the cartilage piercing, the navel will be a breeze for you. It hurts no more than having your earlobes done.
