someone is cured of a disease, god cured them
someone gets rescued, god saved them
someone was located in a forest or mountain, god located them

what about the people who werent religious who were cured of a disease? Or the ones who arent religious who were rescued, or found, located? What about the religious who were prayed for and DID die of a disease, or werent rescued or found? Why are things completely unrelated attributed to god? Especially when people who dont "know god" experience the exact same things as those who do? Why would one be attributed to god, and one not? One patient was cured by god, one was cured by science and medicine? If the religious person had never been to a doctor, would they still have been cured, because if god is the one who saved them, then there should have been no need for medicine or science to begin with.

Ok so god is good, he does good things for all people. Then why do we need medicine at all? Why isnt he down her curing people through faith alone? Alot of scientists dont believe in god, why would he allow non-believers to be the ones curing people , arent non-believers sopposed to be seperated from god? Dissconcected from him? Shouldnt christians be going to church to be healed and not doctors? If god cured you, not the doctor, then why not go see your priest to cure your disease

You're absolutely right. It is something of a superstition to say that God healed somebody because that person was a Christian, but say nothing when the same God healed a non-believer.

The same goes with getting sick. If God is the one who heals, why not just say that God is the one who made viruses that make people sick too?

There are religious people, fundamentalists who handle poisonous snakes because of some obscure bible reference and then when they're bitten, they don't get medical help and die. That's nuts!

What it comes down to for me is that age-old question of why do bad things happen. I don't know the answer to that. I only know that the God that I met in my heart is inifintely good and loving and has healed me of many spiritual and emotional sicknesses -- even if the doctors and Wellbutrin helped.

You hit it right on the nose when you said he aids people in there work. He aids the doctors , he aids the scientist, and he aids the believers. Theres a lot of us that pray for that aid. Theres people that die for some reason or another but we as Christians and humans don't always understand why. We are not God and will never be God, There is but only one God. So try asking him all these questions and see what you come up with. We as humans do not have the capabilities to understand why some things happen. Yet everyday I visit YahooQ/A and somebodies always curious as to why God (that they don't believe in ) is doing one thing or another. We don't and never claim to have all the answers, the only thing we can do is share what we know and our experiences.

God is an awesome god, But not everything good that happens is God, just like not everything bad is the devil.
Sometimes I hear people say... the devil made me fall and brake my leg. No, actually the person was probably not looking down or tripped over something. The devil has much more evil things to do then petty things like that. he is out to kill, steal, and destroy! God is fully able to do miracle healings and more, but if your going to ask why he doesn't, then you might as well ask a question like.... Why didn't Jesus just walk off the cross? God bless you . : D

Christians attribute good things to God because He created this world. The real question is why hatemongers and bashers such as yourself attribute bad things to Him. If you are not willing to admit you're a basher or hatemonger, and if you don't believe in religion, and thus believe you have no soul, why exactly are you in the religion/spiritual section if not to do what you're doing, bashing? Is that logical in some odd way?

Christians and other theists attribute good qualities to God, such as loving, powerful, and all knowing, because the alternative is that God is impotent, sadistic, incompetent or just the deadbeat bad of the universe who abandoned his creation.

Uh, I don't only attribute good things to God...I know he can give us pain and suffering too...if an atheist/non-believer is cure...than they should be glad and I believe God cure them...although they don't think the same.

God made man...Jesus came and died for all...not just Christians....

Sometimes good happens. Sometimes hardship happens. It is all created by and for God.

Who gave wisdom to doctors/physicians to know how to treat diseases? Hrmm...

Hebrews 2:4
God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

God is good, so we attribute good to him. And he gives good things to all people, not just Christians. It says so in the Bible.
