My daughter is so young my wife hasn't even finished the big talks yet. Along comes this neighbor mental case and starts wooing her. Next thing we know he has visited her in her room - through the first floor window in the middle of the night, on order of four times with offers of sex. She said she stopped him from penetration, although we are thinking of taking her to a doctor to verify. She consented and said he was her "boyfriend".
The boy was adopted after a yr in a Russian orphanage He didn't "work out", and the parents could see something this coming. I think they would be relieved to have him brought under the legal or psychiatric system because he is out of control in many ways. They were surprised at this incident, however. His parents found out about this via his diary, where he recorded he had sex with my daughter.
How can we protect my daughter from this person?

I think everyone needs to step back and re-think this. First, Lets not for get these are kids. And I know you are seeing red. the fact that he would touch your daughter in such a way. I wouldn't go rushing her to the doctor. I would wait to see if she misses her period first. rushing her down to get a doctors exame . That would be so degrading for her. And the last thing you want is for her to think you don't believe her. And the more you tell her no the more she'll tell him yes. If it were me I'd sit her down and have a very honest talk. I would finish the big talk asap. Get her on some type of birth control. Then I would go have a real serious talk with the boy and his parents make sure they under stand what the concquences are if he comes any were near her or your house. And like the man said a good load of bird shot would do him some good. I wouldn't blow it up into something that it dosn't need to be. And do you have an older son or even a younger son. That can go with you when you have your talk with him.

Have him arrested for breaking & entering, then go from there & pile up his charges. If he comes back, you could beat the crap out of him when you catch him inside your house & he should be treated like any other burgular. The kid is a danger to society & should be institutionalized before he violates a much younger child. He is only acting out what has been done to him in the past, but that doesn't make it an excusable act. You should at least have her checked for STD's. What a nightmare this must be for all of you. I hope the authorities will help you with this. Have you tried calling the Consulate & immigration people? They must have some guidelines regarding these children if they are not yet US Citizens. What a mess. I'd think that at the least, this boy has committed an act of child abuse or a forced sex act upon another. I guess we need new laws for this type of thing because it's only going to get worse as time goes on. Contact your City Council, State Rep, Mayor, Govenor, etc. until this gets some attention.

well the law was broken. if this goes to court and she admits she consented with him (although she is not allowed to by only being 12) they could charge both children with statutory rape of a child. You would best off contacting a lawyer if you want to file charges. underage sexual offenses between minors (especially when both parties are under 15) have very gray rules. If the male party is infact mentally ill, then that will also have some play in this case. It would be wise to take her to the doctor as soon as possible as signs of rape start diminishing right after the event, and a defense attorney will argue against the case of "the girl being broken" by saying it cannot be determined to be caused by a sexual or non-sexual act. The lawyer will advise you on the best course of action to take and the rules for your state.

Not familiar with MIchigan law but it sounds like at a minumum there is an attempted rape charge that needs to be filed. Tresspassing, also. By all means file a protective order immediately.

Talk to the parents again. I think you should be at least talking with the Cops about it.
If the parents supplied yoiu the information about this they might want you to report him just like you say but are not sure about it themselves.

I'd call the cops and get her tested. It's illegal. Id' make sure that window doesn't ever open again. If the cops did nothing I'd over there beating that kids *** because 1 way or another he would be punished.
