The Heavenly Man was an incredible story.

I just re-read Out of the Silent Planet by CS Lewis, one of my all time faves.

"The Quest for God, a Personal Pilgrimage" by Paul Johnson. I enjoyed this work by a seasoned writer who has met many of the great philosophers, theologians, and personalities of the 20th century.

Like Ryan above, I also read Francis Collins' book, "The Language of God." As much a personal witness as it is a call for Christians to embrace science, I quite enjoyed it.

I'm currently reading, "A Woman After God's Own Heart," by Elizabeth George. I've read other books by her and have enjoyed them. However, one of my favorite books is, "Captivating," by John and Stasi Eldredge. It talks about women, all their nuances and how faith plays a part in our lives. The book was inspired by John Eldredge's book, "Wild At Heart," which has the same ideas, but is catered to men. I'm still interested in reading it though. So there are my recommendations. Happy reading!

I recently read a couple of books by Kirk Douglas, the actor. He surprised me with his honesty, wit and observations on humanity. He is Jewish and proud of it. It's always good to look at life through another person's eyes. The books by Mr. Douglas are "My Stroke of Luck" and "Let's Face It."
