Anyone that has tried shutterfly, please let me know. Also, let me know your opinions about photos from the kodak photolab at wal*mart, ritz, and other places taht make photos. I don't particularly favor the wal*mart photolab b/c of their editing machine--I'd do better on my own computer and I don't even know how to do the fancy stuff. Let me know soon b/c I've got some shutterfly coupons and I got to use them before they expire or know to not use them at all. Thanks!

Shutterfly prints lousy photos. They are flat and often the color is completely off. EZ Prints does a much better job for just about the same price. I know a lot of pros that use them.

I've used shutterfly for a few years now with no problems.

I've not heard of this company, but will say that if you are unhappy with any prints you have had done, don't be afraid to ask them to reprint them - at their cost. Of course you can't do this if the print is how it is, but compare your prints to the negative and go from there.

In the past I have had a lab print photos shot using a black background as a print with a grey background. They also printed the side of the frame. In the end the lab reprinted three times before both they and I were happy.

Another lab printed all my blue sky/ocean prints as purple. I told them this was not acceptable and now refuse to use this lab. You do need to find a lab that you can trust and who have competent printers.

Ditto on Shutterfly being okay. I've never used them for anything other than snapshots. My daughter has used them for for the same purpose for 2-3 years and she keeps using them, so...

I have been thoroughly satisfied with Flickr for "serious" prints and thrilled with Miller's - http://www.mpix.com - although I've only used them half a dozen times.

I usually recommend MPix. Shutterfly has been better than Snapfish in my experience.
