I think - if you would have used a dog example you wouldn't be getting the flack for the wrong category - I know what you are meaning though.

Let's see, we have chiwawa, and so on. Simple almost there mistakes - like hte for the don't bother me. Text talk does - ebonics does, white trash what I be up doing wrong wit me dog does.

I agree with someone else. I can deal with the spelling mistakes a LOT more than I can improper grammar. most of us can actually read words when spelled incorrectly, but sometimes can't figure out which way is up with poor grammar.

I'm with ya!

This is in response to the person who said spell-check isn't available when you ask a question. Uh, yes it is. Did you even bother to check? It says in bright bold letters: spell check. Now if we could just get people to actually use it. I'm right there with you. There's nothing worse than a person who can't spell.

Yes I agree, it is getting pretty bad. It's probably due to the advent of technology and people's enslaven to it. I think Spell Check is not going to solve this epidemic unfortunately, and math will be obsolete in our next generation of kids as well. Ciao.

Amen! Sometimes it's so bad, you can't even understand what they are saying! My kids took keyboarding in school, isn't that required any more? How hard is it to read over what you just typed and fix the errors and typos? Must be just sheer laziness!

I couldn't agree with you more, sometimes it can get very bad indeed. But as for whetether or not spellcheck is actually available, I guess that would depend upon what operating system you have for your personal computer.

Since we're on grammar, let's add punctuation.

"Spell check is available people.?" Are you asking a question, or making a statement? Which punctuation mark did you plan on using?

You are in the wrong category! That is pretty ironic, is it not? You correcting a spelling error and we correct you on what category to ask the questions. Don't worry, though, we all make mistakes.

It's not the spelling that bothers me, the bad grammar is more irritating.
