It depends on genetics and how careful the breeders were. Yes- a fawn can have a black nose. There is very little difference between a Pit and a Staffy.
"A common question regarding the APBT is, "How is this breed different from the American Staffordshire Terrier?". In the eyes of the United Kennel Club, they are the same breed, but many disagree. Some AKC-registered American Staffordshire Terriers are dual-registered as American Pit Bull Terriers with the UKC; however, this draws criticism from many who point out that the bloodlines have been separate for too long for these to be considered the same breed. The AKC, on the other hand, does not allow a UKC-registered American Pit Bull Terrier to be registered as an American Staffordshire Terrier. To be dual-registered, the dog must first be an AKC-registered American Staffordshire Terrier and then it can be registered with the UKC as an APBT -- but not vice versa... Choose from a responsible breeder and make sure the puppy is properly socialized and handled. Solid training will produce a tranquil, good, obedient, companion dog."

Sure can. I have two and their mother was a fawn with a black nose. Neither of them have a black nose though.. Usually, the nose will be in tone with coat color (you wont find a chocolate dog with a blue nose) but fawns can have any (whites can have black or red). When I went to pick out my pups, there were three fawns in the litter, two had red noses and one, my girl, has a blue.

I have two APBTs. One is four years and is a honey color with a black nose and muzzle. The other one is three months old with a black nose and a light fawn color, she could change as she gets older. Both of them are a blue and red nose mix.

yes it can have a black nose - i have been dealing with pits for 13 years - i rescue them from ignorant morons - - - i dont have a fawny one to show you but yes it can happen - sometimes the nose even comes out looking grey -
and for the record - how you raise a dog has a lot to do with its tempermant - we have a female that is almost 2 and the neices and nephews hang all over the dogs - the boy is three and he is so happy when the kids come around - the red nose is four and she is the sweetest thing - the other black girl loves to run and play with them - the other black girl is the same - i wont keep listing them

Yes depends on their genes if you have a dog that has a red nose and it breeds with a dog with a back nose it can get the black nose. primarily if the paternal genes are black nosed. Most of the pups might have red noses because red noses are a strong gene.

My brother's dog, Duke, a pit bull, is fawn colored with a black nose. I think he is very handsome, and he is very well trained and well mannered.
