If Allah is perfect could he have lesser sins? Would not any sin be too much sin? Could Allah being perfect say this sin is not as bad as another sin and remain perfect while having any degree of agreement with any sin? The true God of Abraham did not agree with any sin all sin is death it was the reason for tha sacrifices. God is all knowing and knew man could not live up to his righteousness and provided the only way for any man to be righteous through the price being paid by God. Salvation can not be earned as if God is indebted to his creation but is a free gift from a merciful God. Doesnt this show that God is more righteous and merciful than the Alah that Muhammad gives you? Would it not be a lesser god than the perfect God if someone tried to fake God?

kuj if there are degrees of sin Allah is not a perfect God he is saying some sins are lesser which means he is in agreement with sin and is not a righteous God.

Eve If all men sin and Allah is a righteous God then all men have plenty to fear without a savior.

Eve I understand there is no savior in Islam and that all men are judged by their works which is the reason for my question ...If youa re not prefect and your Allah is perfect you can not be joined wiht him, A perfect God can not find any sin okay he can not overlook sin and the only punishement for any sin is death if your Allah is perfect otherwise he is in some agreement with some sin and is not a righteous perfect God.
If your \God says your sin is not great then he is saying he is to say the least not perfect. ALL sin is great there are not small sins. God is perfect not near perfect.

Kuj you must surely agree that if Allah is judging by degree he is not righteous as the Christian God is...He can not be, if sin is by degree and he has lesser sins a perfect God. The Christian God does nto agree wiht any sin ALL sin is death.
the Christian God si also more merciful he paid that penalty fo death for all who accept the atonement....How is it that Muhammad's Allah is less righteous and less merciful than the God that is worshiped before Muhammad existed, If God is perfect would not an imitation have to be a lesser God?

Eve, If we say God is perfect he ahs to actually be perfect simply the way it works, If God is to say sin is okay then he can not be perfect can he? A perfect God does not overlook any sin therfore we can not be joined to a perfect God and be a sinner, doesnt work. These things that I am saying should prove to you your Allah is not my God they can not be the same.
My God can not be joined to your Allah as he himslef is not perfect and is in some degree in agreement with sin.
God does not judge by degree he can not. He does not agree with sin of any sort there are no lesser sins all sin is death. My God joins his creation to him by paying that penalty of death for man bringing his creation to his righteousness not joining his creation in their sin.

Eve why can't you see the truth...If God forgives in any way any sin without the price being paid for sin he is not a righteous God...If God is perfect than he would have to demand perfection. He can not say sin is okay, which is what he is doing when he forgives without the price being paid. The only price for sin if God si perfect is death there is no way he can be perect and say any sin is okay or lesser...this is ageeing wiht sin if you wouod simply think about it, When is say theft of 5 cents is better than theft of a million dollars ima saying the smaller amount is less bad I am agreeing with this sin more than the other, A perfect God has ot say all sin is too much sin he can not agree wiht any sin so there can to be lesser sins if your God is righteous...consider this the God that is and the God that I worship says all sin equals death..He can not agree with what you would call a small sin...Any sin is sin and all mean a man is a sinner.

and all sin equals death and seperation from a righteous God. It is the reason God came to the world in the form of man to overcome sin and death.

Eve, I wish you would read the words of the prophets of course they agree God is one because God is one but they have more of a message than this and this message is from God and is about your salvation. Muhammad does not agree with the prophets of God and teaches of a different God who does not follow the teachings of the God of Abraham nor does he agree with any of the prophets of God.

First of all, Allah is just the Arabic name for God. So I would love to use "God" since we are talking in English.
And to answer you I can summarize my answer by the following verse from Quran:
[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
Edit: There is no "savior" concept in Islam (Submission). We just need to be true Submitters to God and that's all. God is perfect but he created us and he knows that we are not perfect .
Edit: why are we supposed to be perfect to join God???
It makes no sense to me. Why should we consider perfectness and non-perfectness in judgment matter and joining God? And hey, why do you consider that I have a different God than your God??? He is the same God, actually.
And yes, there are no small sins. Quran never talks about big and small sins. But it talks about forgiveness. Forgivness is one of the greatest things that prove God is perfect.
Edit: who said that God says sin is ok??? I've NEVER said this.
And it is up to you whether you believe that God is one and the same or not. But I do believe that and that is the difference in our faiths. The God, before prophet Muhammed came and after he came, is the SAME God. He is the first and the last... He was at the beggining and created this uneverse... he never changes. All prophets came with the same message which was Monotheism. The differences are man-made. Hope you get my point. And thanks for this interesting argument.
Peace.

there are worst sins than others, not all sins are equal.
and God is all merciful all forgiveness, he forgives those who are honest and ask him for forgiveness. no need to send no one to die so you can be forgiven.
edit: djmantx, of course that makes him very just God, do you want God to punish you for a small sin similar to murder or adultery? God is all wise, he has degree for every sin. however, asking him for forgiviness can erase all sins.
