My freezer has broken - is there anyway I can preserve the meat as I have lot in there which has almost defrosted - ie. can I cook it and have it has a cold meat or can I rewarm it tomorrow?

Have a cookout and invite all your friends so that the meat doesn't go to waste

If you will have a freezer soon (next day sort of thing) then you can cook and re-freeze those meats. DO NOT refreeze thawed out meat, you could get sick.
If you have access to a cooler something usable for the same purpose, fill it with ice (dry ice if you can get it, most ice cream shops have it) and have a tight fitting lid, you could create a temp fridge to hold you over a day or two.
A big cook-out sounds good too......its a good way to get to know the neighbors too, incase it happens again, you can borrow space in their freezers.

Yes, you can cook it. That will extend the life by several days.
You're getting the freezer fixed, aren't you? Buy some dry ice, and it'll keep the meat frozen.

I would ventyre to say you are going to be very busy today as cooking it and then refreezing it when freezer is fixed is the only way to save the meat - good luck

call mom and ask to borrow a portion of her freezer temporarily. Once met is thawed it needs to be cooked, or better yet keep it frozen until you need it. I suggest calling on any of your fam or Friends to help you out there...otherwise it's $$$$ lost....and I can't go for that.
if you listen to georgie above your going to end up with alot of defrosted meat.....thats how I defrost mine....

You can cook it up, but then you still have to refrigerate it. See if a neighbor can help you out by holding some for you. I would do it if someone asked....strange request, but try it, you may make a new friend in the process.

Get an ice chest and pack them in there for a couple of days 'til you get your fridge fixed.
Or call up all your friends... break out the BBQ Grill and have yourself a cookout. Have everyone bring drinks and you've got yourself a great get-together.

my fridge broke down some time ago too, and i asked my neighbour to keep what i had in my freezer in his till i got a new fridge. so if you have nice neighbours with a lot of free space in their freezer, i say u ask them for a little help

NO!! u can get seminola if u rewarm it! just freez it in the cooler wit lots of ice

You could cook it all and it would last a little longer. You could also go buy a bunch of ice and a cooler to try to preserve it longer.
